I have a 95 Suburban in need of an engine rebuild. I want to take it in, drop it off and pick it up when done with warranty.

Who in the springs is good and affordable?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks
Chris

Just a shot in the dark but if you don't know how to do the install yourself, have you spoken with the Chevy dealer about dropping in a crate engine? I've been curious if that was a competitive approach or not. I've dealt with Mark at Al Serra for quite a few years on my Blazer and Suburban, and he has always treated me great! Let me know if you get a number from them.....:waytogo:

Chris, I take it your. R&R ing the engine yourself.
Most places that offer a warranty need documentation the R&R was done by a shop or certain steps were taken during the engine change if anything goes wrong.

Places I deal with on a regular basis.

Rocky mountain machine.

Geddes machine.

But seriously, a mail order engine or a GM crate may be cheaper. Just depends what you are looking for.
