On an Mark IV 454, is there a paper gasket between a regular oil filter boss (non oil cooler) and the block surface?

I didn't think so but while cleaning up I found a gasket in the kit that might fit there.

Most do NOT but I have seen a few in McCord gasket kits. You don't need it.

The only chevy engines i've seen use a gasket are the ones that used an engine oil cooler.

Thanks guys! I couldn't remember ever having seen one on a regular filter boss but it's always scary finding leftover parts.
