Engine Cradle / Stand

I have one for all of the motors in my shop.

I bought them for 20 or 25 though, (car show)

They're great! Easy to roll, the only problem I had was that one stand came with bolts of a non chevy thread pattern. So i just borrowed nuts from a different stand. Other than that they are worth the money.

Just read your wanting to put the tranny on this too? Not sure how that would work.

With that type of stand you're not gonna be able to bolt a tranny onto the block because the brackets on the two rear posts will be in the way.

Thats what I was thinking...but if he got longer bolts he may be able ot pull it off.

I have one of those stands with my 355 on it right now. Very handy, makes it easy to move a motor around without worrying about it tipping over.

Tranny & engine might exceed weight limit. Might look into adding a crossbar on the backside for the tranny to rest on. I it's an auto I probably wouldn't do it unless I could add a mono strut w/wheel to the tail end of the tranny:D:D
