I have ord's cross member and the oil pan is just touching it. Anyone have this problem. Stock motor mounts. Morrosso wedge style pan which I think would be the same towards the front.

what engine ? and crossmember ? small block or big block .

how do the mounts look ?

stock 30-40 year old ?

stock import replacement that dont last about a year ?

aftermarket beefy units ?

Sure the engine brackets are the 4x4 specific ones ?..they are taller by an inch or so than most used on 2wd trucks and cars ..
I assume we're discussing a square body 4x4 ?..between 73-87..

and most newer replacement rubber frame side mounts are basicly junk out of the box .

lots of guys have reported few trail rides or 6months or so of dd use there shot again .

do energy suspension replacements or ord or diy4x style .

Yes 82 square. They are 4x4 mounts. Might be off six cylinder. Don't remember. I will try some new mounts and see what happens.

Straight sixes used specific engine brackets, that far as I know wont bolt up to a V8 or be anywhere near right if they would..
A V-6 like a 4.3 might bolt up to a V8,I have no clue if they are the same as what a square body 4x4 V8 would be..

If they are same 4.3 mounts my s-10 has, the answer is no.

I really don't remember. The truck originally had a 250 six. Probably found some v-8 mounts somewhere. I have had the truck for thirty years and did the motor swap some 20 years ago. Damb how time flies!
