engine enamel vs regular spray paint???

well after searching around for a bit tryin to find a good color to paint the blazer i finally found the paint!!! chevy orange no.200 only prob is i could only find it in engine enamel so i said hey what the heck and used that to paint my whole truck. it looks good right now but is this paint way different then other conventional spray paint am i gonna be kickin myself later on down the road??
