Engine Guys :Does this make sense?

My boss at work has a '69 F-150 he's rebuilding the 360 for...he mentioned he's using a low-RPM cam and a hi-RPM intake so that he gets power all the way across....I've always heard you have to match all the parts...will this work or is he nuts?

The real question should be why in the world would anyone put money into paper weight like a 360.

It will work, badly. Picture a tunnel ram with two 780's on a truck engine. She'll never get wrapped up enough to keep the carbs from bogging. bad plan

That's pretty much what i figgered. I'm not much of a student of engines tho, specially not furds. I can fix 'em but if i want more power i figger it's easier to just put a bigger one in We'll se what happens when he gets it in and going.
