we need a little more info than that, what vehicle is it in, or what did it come out of, pics?
You need to see what the suffix code is (located on the passneger side block just in front of the cylinder head on a machined pad). This will tell you what year, model car, engine size.

Ah thx thats actually the question i was trying to ask just didnt know what "suffix code" was called :P
nastyz28.com is the site I use to decode the suffix codes, you have to dig around a bit to find that part of the site.
Don't know of any other comprehensive online sites that list suffix codes.
