Engine Identification Trouble??? (Help PlS)

Hey fellas, I believe i am the third owner of my 87 K5. The previous owner really didnt have to much info for me on the truck and after close inspection of the engine wiring, i believe i do not have the original motor that came with the truck. I have cleaned up the front of the motor enough to see the ID but im having trouble getting someone to give me info on the engine. Anyone got an idea on what may be resting in my engine compartment?

The closest one I found is a AKH suffix. That shows to be a '89 TBI 305. I found that info here....http://www.73-87.com/chevy_ids/scode1.htm

Could that R possibly be a K ?

Flint engine 4th month, 26th day Can't find the ARH code...do you have the casting #, and date casting on the bellhousing flange?

im going to try after work to see if i can see those casting #'s, if not this weekend i will pulling out the motor, tranny and transfer case as i am doing a re-build of the truck, but thanks for the help guys!
