Engine oil cooler flow?

Lol i know a wierd question. But as far as routing the line to the external cooler how should it go? Or does it even matter?

When the lines were running to the side mounted radiator cooler, the upper hose ran down to forward part of the adaptor and the lower ran to the rear. Im sorry I know that isnt very clear. I got a b&m cooler just wondering if it maters which side gets which hose?

I always run the feed in the lower or bottom be it trans of otherwise.

would the feed line be the rear fitting?

Are you eliminating the radiator cooler all together? If so then it doesn't matter where the lines go.
