Engine parts...

Hey, when I bought my Jimmy, it came with a 350, my dad drove it and he said it definitly was not stock. I don't have the guys number that sold it to us, so I can't ask him whats in it. Is there a way to identify the parts that are in the engine? I really want to know what is in there so I can upgrade the other things he never did. Some parts have stampings and #'s cast into them. But you won't see it unless you take the engine apart. Intake manifolds will usually have a manufacturer stamped or cast into it that you should be able to see.
