Well my engine is 80% done.

Looks nice and perty. I rebuilt mine in March, and after a few mud holes, it will probably never be that clean again.... Get plenty of pics when its in the truck too! It never lasts (unless its a show vehicle).

Hey thanks I will post a lot more photos in the next few weeks this engine is not done yet. The only off-roading this engine will see is camping, pre-hunting season and hunting season and if I have to pull someone out of the mud.
Thats it. I have plans on making my k5 into a show off truck.

dumb question... why did you completely assemble it before putting it in the truck?

It is not completely assemble. I just put the parts on to see if I was building this engine how I wanted it.

Tell me something guys.
Should I paint the water pump and Harmonic Balancer black or red? The pulleys are going to be black so are all of the Brackets.
I am shooting for 2 weeks from now. BEFORE July 4. It is getting a polished timing cover, Ceramic coated headers, Zoops Smooth Billet Wire Looms (polsihed).
