hi everyone,

I am working slowly on a k5 and it has a 350 small block, now since i don't live in the states i do have some problem with getting some parts,

i was thinking to start collecting some parts for an engine rebuild anyone plz can tell me what kit do i need for a full rebuild including cams pistons and everything and where is the best place to get it from???

thank you all in advance

These two are some of the biggest names for car and truck / engine parts:

Summit Racing

Jegs

But you literally have nearly countless places to pick from, even if you're overseas. I bet those guys above ship internationally. Google "350 engine parts"

I'd have to say northernautoparts as well, I've dealt with them many times always great pricing. They also have tons of stock. I've called needing some fairly specific parts changed out when buying a engine kit, all in stock, shipped the next day.

You could buy ll the rebuild parts at those places, or buy a complete crate engine with everything you want put into it and a warrantee if you have the cash. Most places that sell engine parts shop Internationally but just cost more for shipping. Summit and jegs has good thechs there that will help if you have questions on individual parts.

thanx a lot everyone excellent infos, ive checked summit racing and it looks like they have everything I need,i still need to have a look at what northern auto parts have in stock...

ok so rebuild kit issue is been sort it out for now!!!

now the thing that's really doing my heading is should I go 454 instant of 350???keep in my mind dana 6o in the front,14 bolt in the rear 4.5 Detroit!!!

thanx again guys.

All depends on how you intend on using your truck and what the gas prices are like in Jordan. You need to give us a little more info.

well its an everyday car, also we use for off roading hunting and all types of heavy duty use...
gas prices aren't cheap I can tell u that

as long as i manage to set up the truck with the perfect running gear then i really wont be thinking about gas prices and all that(hope i make sense)
:))

Iwould only go with the BBC if you NEED the extra power, like dunes or mud or towing (which I wouldn't do much of weightwise w/ a K5 anyway)...driving trails and everyday use a SBC is fine

Of course I've never said "gee I wish I wouldn't have put a 454 in my truck!"
