Does this look like white or grey smoke on a 78 K5 350 V8 blazer? It runs like this at startup and curb idle when the engine is warm. The engine sat for 15+ years. Over the years I did turn the engine over a few times and at one point I added some fogging oil to the cylinders. I used a coolant leak fluid detector and there was no bubbles and color change in the fluid. Maybe the intake manifold gasket is leaking?

I'm not sure what to do to fix this. I only ran it about 3 miles. Maybe I need to run it more miles and see what happens? I don't see any milky fluid in the engine oil. Could this smoke be tranny fluid perhaps?

I would expect an engine that sat for along time, to smoke quite a bit on start up. If you have a TH350, yes that could be trans fluid from the modulator.

May just need to burn off a bit. If it sat that long who knows what's in the exhaust pipes.

I have experienced this many times.
Run it for a couple of days and put fresh fuel and then see if it doesn't get better.
Mine always cleared after a few hours of driving and fresh fuel.
You could accelerate this by removing most of the old fuel and filling the tank with the fresh fuel.
