running a 350ci,4brl(edelbrock)465/205.problem is...not much power even after changing cap/rotor,plugs(.045 gap)wires.started running like crap a week or so ago, which is why i changed everything.it goes through 1st just fine, but into second and third,it stumbles.just after shifting, though.not the full range of 2nd-3rd gear.i've been running "seafoam"through the last couple fill-ups(every other day)since Friday.black, sooty stuff coming out the exhaust Saturday evening so i think it's working.i haven't changed the fuel filter yet,but will tomorrow.any other ideas appreciated.thanks!

Check the fuel line from the frame to the fuel pump. If its old and cracked it will suck air, causing it to stumble just when you shift and put your foot in it.
