I 100% agree, I don't think a winch should qualify for 1st place unless it's fully functional (or retains the most functionality of those left). I enjoyed reading that shootout when it was printed in the mag a while back but I was disappointed with their end result.

The solenoid pack can be moved, if thats what you mean by adjustable.

I'm just young and have never done one before. I've saw where some people change the location of the free spool lever on their installs.

As stated in the article, they are China sourced. As all $300 winches are. As well as all Warn winch motors and the new VR series warn.

No, Warn is as close as you get. With China made parts.
