environmental control/blower switch problem

my blower only seems to kick on ,or on hi when the temp control lever is switched to a/c. oh ya, btw, my a/c is totaly disconnected. this makes it a real pita when i need to use the defrosters. anyone know why it is doing this ? please help, winter is getting ever closer. thanks

I had this same problem when i yanked my a/c outta my burb...the four season switch was designed to only work on HI with the cold/hot selector in the far left postition and the other selector on a/c...what I am planning on doing is re-routing the controller vacuum hoses on the back of the switch and the plenums so that I can get the heat to flow through the a/c vents. If you need more info, just lemme know.

ya, id be interested in more detail on your idea. anything that can save me $$$$ by fixing it myself instead of taking it some where, works for me. i have enuff stuff i have to get professionaly fixed due to lack of proper knowledge and or proper tools. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif thanks
