I got to park in one of those spots once.
In my 73 cab and chassis with a 454 ( had a 13 ft long flatbed on it) I came out to hop in and some guy close to me pipes up says something or other I don't really remember.
I keyed him in on the fact that I am still driving something made in 1973 and if we were all doing that and no cars had been produced since 1973 global warming ( you gotta speak their lanuguage) would never be an issue, then asked what he drove. OF COURSE IT WAS A PRIUS!
He had actually called a tow truck company to come and tow an illegally parked truck! Tow guy got there within seconds of me conversing with this guy, guy flagged him down and told him why he had called, man that tow driver was pissed off big time. That guy had called him and lied to him told him I was illegally parked in a handicap spot!
Lemme tell you tow truck drivers are very creative with their language when trying to get a point across to someone.
2 weeks later went to the same place and they had painted over the lettering that had said reserved for ULEV vehicles, guy in the store said the most popular question in his store for the last month was, " What is a ULEV vehicle?"
