i need to balance my tires and im wondering if anyone has gotten "equal" tire balancer before. is it worth it or should i go to walmart and pick up some small BB's?

I've seen large tires do realy well with the Equal product but you CANNOT have any moisture in your air or it will clump. If you want to try the BB's/Air soft pellets/Golf Balls here is a web site that has a chart that tells you how many ounces per size tire. I belive their product is pretty much the same as the Air Soft pellets.

Innovative is ceramic beads, about the size of coarse sand. My truck isn't dead smooth ~60-65, but gets up & clicks getting into 70s. The truck has 185K miles, the frame rivets are loosening, still the orig. steering box, 34s, etc. Still better than lead balancing.

i used airsofts in my 36s and they didnt work for $hit... vibes from 40 to infinity pretty much (got scary to drive from 70 on up)

i conventional balanced them and they now ride like a dream :rotfl:

awesome guys thanks for the info:bow: , looks like innovative seems pretty good

My friend has been running BB's in his 35X15 boggers for 4000 + miles with no issues. They are as smooth as a balanced bogger can be. We have gone on two 400 mile round trip wheeling trips.

I run Equal in my 35" BFG's, Works great for me. It's been in there for over a year now.

I tried Equal in 275-75-16s and could not get the vibrations to go away. 86'd it for standard weights and it works great. not going back.

I got equal for free in my hawgs..... supposedly it is in there and bias tires..... so rough ride until the tires warm up then seems ok.... :D
