I needed a new rig, in July of 2019 I bought a good condition 02 Escalade, I drank the Ls Koolaid and I wanted one besides the one in my k30. Things when fine and then on August 11 2020, I was coming to a stop on Columbia Blvd in Portland Oregon. I was hit by a truck going 50 mph. it messed me up pretty bad (still dealing with long-term medical issues) . it turned into a 5 car pile up and my beloved Escalade was toast. I'm still dealing with the accident and trying to get it figured out via lawyer. the guy who hit me was in his company truck. I ended up getting a replacement Escalade which was nicer than the one I had before. The old one still starts and drives in my yard. but it's going to be for parts and other things. I was lucky to be in a large vehicle.

wow I hope you heal up and don't have permanent aches and pains. I would bet money the Silverado was over weight when it hit you. Every work truck I ever weighed was at or over gvwr. I weighed every truck I put brakes on, esp or plumbers and fire suppression crews. The first thing the driver says is the brakes failed. My reply is of coarse they did your truck is over weight. During the investigation test, brake always performed to spec.

I have memory loss and slow recall, perment damage to my right shoulder. My ears have been ringing for 371 days, accident was August 11 2020. I cant sleep, i have insomnia, i dont like being a passenger in cars when people drive fast. My neck has lost a lot of range of motion. Few other issues. Dude was texting and looked up to late and slammed right into me. His truck had a huge full water tank in the bed. He was in his work truck.
