Does ethanol have any effects of stainless braid AN fuel line? What about older injectors?
My truck has sat for about a month. I drove it to school today and while coasting to a stop it would stumble and the RPM's would drop to about 400. While doing that it would also backfire out of the exhaust and do the same while accelerating from a stop. My SES light is under the hood, so when I get home I'll pop the hood and see if there are any codes.
Other than bad fuel, the only thing I can think that's bad is maybe a sensor? A rat made a lunch of some wires?
This is on a TPI 350 if that matters.

It depends on what the fuel is in contact with. If they are teflon (or whatever else is resistant to ethanol) then no problems. If it's just non-resistant rubber hose, ethanol could certainly kill it.

The fuel in there is only about a month old? Didn't see any popping with mine with bad (old) fuel, just decrease in performance due to the knock sensor retarding timing due to detonation with the bad fuel.

Is the hose in the tank the newer ethanol resistant one? I fought that problem for a couple of years before I got smart and put a fuel pressure tester on the setup.

Yes, the in tank hose is the newer ethanol rated one. I was having problems with fuel pumps dieing on me and made sure to put the correct hose in when replacing them.
I don't have a fuel pressure gauge handy, and the pump is maybe 8 months old. I bought a can of seafoam to put in the tank. I've never used the stuff, but people around here swear by it. I put 20 gallons of fresh has in the tank and I'm hoping that cures the problems.
I'm going to the local meet and greet this Saturday and will be driving it the 60 mile round trip. Hopefully it doesn't leave me on the side of the road...
