Even Doug Thorley says NO! "pics now"

Speaking of headers, I've got a question for y'all. I thought about getting headers for my 87 K5, and was warned not to put the money into them unless I plan on replacing them every year or two (due to rapid heating/cooling from water and mud). Is this really anything to worry about?

I had the bung welded in so I could install a Fuel/Air mixture gauge. Been working 12 hour shifts so I haven't had a chance to finish the install, just plugged it temporarily.

I will probably rotate it up when I get everything hooked up, thanks for the heads up.
