i did that but i WON, snaped the pole in about 4 pieces and it dident do much damage to the truck.,...

not the hill i nosed into after wards did... i liked that truck c20 85 custom delux!

im glad i dident win it was 2 mins from my house....on average in winter the power goes off for 4 days every month atlest....wasent to big of a loss imo it was only running on 5 cylinders and its one step closer to a k5 for a dd...

but it did make for a ****ty night happened right after my one friend rolled one of my snowmobiles and half way limping it home it ran out of gas...so like an idiot i was in a hurry to go tell him i was gonna go get gas and i paid for it

I'm a firm believer that any place that has ice on the road should also have snowbanks on the side of the road to protect you from those pesky telephone poles.

emt's mighta busted it out.

My solution for icy roads is to pull my head out of my ass, do not let emotions control me, and drive smart. Everyone always act like slick roads are the "silent killer." No.
It's like the saying "guns don't kill people, people kill people."
Hopefully this'll serve as a lesson.

my smart guy cousin did that to his dodge pickup with a tree, decided to still go and take his gf on a date. put 50 miles on the thing with no antifreeze, power steering, snaped suspension crap, and non working waterpump. good thing it was -10 out..... and he complains that it cost 5k to fix..... more than he spent to buy the truck... hmmm and he wonders y i dont talk to him....

I think thats why they outta bury all the lines personally

Never hit a pole head on, but I have grazed one. Scary accident when it happened. Like a complete baka (read: fool), I was fooling with my radio when it happened. Grazed it then went over a 15ft. dropoff into a grassy field. Only damage I sustained was to the passenger side door and B-pillar where I grazed the pole.

This was nailing a cab, missing a pole, and flipped and skid about 100 feet on the roof.
and it stills sits looking like this since the summer, trying to decide what to do with it.
