Ex-Military Parts Truck

I know where to get ex-military chev pickup. Not sure the year but it is early 80's. The diesel engine is shot, body isn't too bad. Bush guard is there. But what are the axles in the beast? They are 8 lug. Is the rig worth buying for the axles, tranny, t-case? Any info would be great.

If its a pickup then its got 6.2, TH400, 208 and Dana 60 and 14 Bolt Rear with 4.56 gears and a rear Detroit Locker.

So yes its worth getting for parts..

Unless the 60 has been robbed and replaced. Just look and see if its a 60. I thought most 80's CUCV had NP208 transfers.

I think you are right, now that I think about it Im pretty sure they were all slip yoke 208s

thanks, sounds good to me. Anything to get bigger axles and rid of the 203.
