Exactly which axles are under this truck?

At 11:34 last night when you made this post, what the hell were you thinking of wasting your time with a computer for? I'd be calling that number and out the door immediately! I don't care if its night time, get over there ASAP and buy that before someone else does! Thats priced for a quick sale!
 
Yes that's retarded. Buy it now ask questions later. I'll be honest with you if I wasn't sitting in an airport on my iPod wifi I would buy it myself sight unseen. $950 is a no brainer do it immediately
 
So you get a 1 ton drivetrain, a Dana 60 Front and 14b rear. Plus what looks like a good crew cab, plus a frame.

Well I called him and left a message and emailed him as well. If there isn't any rust under the cab my dad will take the rest of the truck. He bought his white 91 V3500 dually new, but it spent 6 years of its life on the east coast so it has some rust issues. Only 175,000kms on the original powertrain though. This would make a perfect donor for a new frame, box and cab. Dad's has the 454/sm465 so I would look at selling the 350 and tranny to get some of that money back. Should make it an even better deal, especially if I offer him $600 for it :D
 
Don't even waste your time making an offer for it. Just grab the damn thing already. He probably has tons of other phone calls and people waiting to come check it out, too.

Remember, money talks and bullsh it walks. He's likely waiting for that person with the cash to show up first and let it be gone.

Don't dick around with him or the truck. Just STFU and get it.
 
Ok so he hasn't got back to me and I can't just "go and get it", it is about 6 hrs north of here in the middle of nowhere and I'm working over the next few days. I would if I could but weighing all the pros and cons its just not that high of a priority for me to drop everything and go.. I hate to say this but its all yours if you guys want it.. :(
 
Thats not exactly a drive I can do and be back to work by tomorrow morning.

How soon can you get there?

If theres someone closer, offer to pay now and have the member hold onto the truck until you can get there.
 
Good tip, but its just really bad timing. I've decided I'm going to pass on it unless the seller contacts me and can hold onto it for a little while. Like I said not really a huge priority for me right now.
