My 85 blazer has 2 diferent exaust pipes with no cats. One is a glass pack and the other is a little shorter and a bit rounder.when i started it up with the old 305 it sounded pretty good.My question is could haveing 2 different pipes hurt mu new 350 or be bad for it at all.
thanks

it might hurt it, because then each bank of cylinders has a diff. back press so one side is working harder that the other. i could be wrong though.

I agree you want the same or close to the same amount of back pressure on both sides. Now for how bad it will hurt the motor, I would say that performance would suffer, but the motor is not going to blow up or anything ;-)

what about an "h pipe" before the muffler?
would this help?
