exaust runners

i am going to be putting hedders on soon. Shoul i try and remove any carbon build up in the exaust runners or should i just put the hedders on and not worry about the carbon?

Bolt them on. You risk knocking the carbon into the cylinders where it won't make the rings or valves happy.

Just bolt the headers on.
