Exhaust Cutouts??

Just wanted to know if anybody had these and if they're any good before I buy some

A good friend of mine has them on his street race car. I can tell you even when they're closed they still sound loud. they leak. I think they are meant for mufflered race cars so that when they go to they track they can open up and get more horsepower. I would say if you want a quiet ride when they're closed forget it......

My best friend was going to put a set on his car a long time ago. The exhaust shop guy talked him out of it, because he said they ALWAYS leak.
