I picked up a 76 K5 that is in very good shape and am trying to put it back to stock except for tires--right now the exhaust manifolds are driving me up the wall
it had rusted out headers and a pair of stock exaust manifolds in the back of the truck--the numbers on them are LH-346222 & RH-334763 had them shot blasted and coated (every thing good so far) put em on the truck and the dang Y pipe fit but no way would the extenion pipe fit (crap)so back to my napa man and re checks the pipe numbers-should be right-then bought a new LH manifold from Lcm ;yep same thing i had except my wallet is lighter
Anyone know if the numbers I have are right or do I bend the Y pipe around his neck--I'am 65 years old been working on cars for 40 years but it seems like I'am going to die of old age laying under this thing.
I have wanted a K5 for years and would like to drive it while I'am still alive.
ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS OR PART NUMBERS?
It's a 350 and I'am putting on single exhaust
Please e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks much Bill

Ya know, I had a similar situation. I had an exhaust manifold rust out, and it took me several tries to find one that would fit. I can't tell you the part number you need, but I can say "hang in there". You'll find it, and it'll all be worth it when it's done. The older I've gotten the more I realize that they ain't making trucks like they used to, so I don't mind paying a little more now and then to keep mine on the road. Giving up is quitter talk. Never give up.

They should be just a standard truck manifold- dorman part numbers, 674-202, 674-203. Should be able to get them at most parts stores. The stock y-pipe should bolt up to those manifolds. The napa numbers are 6002384, and 6002419.

The napa part numbers for the y-pipe are 40349, and 40365. They show two different ones, one is a cut to fit(40349) which the rear would be shortened if needed.

Hope this helps some

Thanks guys--the y-pipe is napa #40365 and the Lh manifold is holander#327-942L---I checked e-bay and this seemed to be the correct number for a 76 K5.
GM must have changed some thing after75 model year because anything listed fits 76 to 80 model years only. Well back off to napa to see if they can convert Holander # to napa numbers or dorman numbers---Thanks again--I also plan on driving this truck the rest of my life, they don't make em like they used.
