Hi, this is a great site, I've been a fan of these trucks for years! Here's my question I have a k5 with a 350 tbi injection all stock.... what is the best exhaust for this motor a dual exhaust or single exhaust? and what muffler do you recomend?, (I prefer a turbo style muffler) I beleive in the tbi years they were all single exhaust I'm looking for decent power, fuel economy, and a decent exhaust note, without messing up the tbi thanks in advance, and great site!!

probably about the best thing would be to get rid of the stock pancake cat, and put a decent high flow on it.

I run a single 3" exhaust with a high flow cat and a Gibson muffler with the tail pipe exiting out the driver side behind the tire.

The motor is stock with stock ex. manifolds the original exhaust is gone and it has a full dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, unfortunately it sounds like crap, I prefer this set up with decent mufflers.... just not sure if it helps or hurts the tbi injection??

You will make more torque down low with a single 3" exhaust, but a true dual exhaust will make more HP up high.
