Alright.. well i got a question, i recently went from dual exhaust.. it was headers 2ft of exhaust pipe then flowmaster 40's. All 2.5" exhaust. Since i built a traction bar i had to go back to a single exhaust, so i now have my passanger exhaust go past my tcase, take a 90 then another 90 welded into the driver side exhaust that goes into my cat and then 40 (have to pass emissions as well) My truck feels like it has less power.. did i build a crappy exhaust? should it not have those 90's in it? Or should i jump it up to 3" tubing? Thanks guys.

90's ? 2 90's = 180 lol. dont you mean 45's? General rule is as straight a run as possible. What motor are you running? A stock 350 tbi motor will run good on a single 3" I would just do a Y-pipe and run a single 3" with a high flow cat. Or do duals with High flow cats and dump them out in front of the tire on each side, run it under your doors and out

Depending on the inspection he has to pass, dual converters may not work. I agree on the 3", easiest/best route all the way around.

all i have to do is pass emissions, but as soon as i do im gonna take off my cat... and no its a 90 facing one way.. then a 90 facing another way. sooo its a 90 to the right then a 90 to the left back into the exhaust towards the back of the truck.

yea the straighter the better and if your going to stay single exhaust it works better with 3" as far as the cat goes if its the new high performance type they flow good i'd leave it

Yeah just do a single 3" exhaust and leave the Hi Flow cat. in it wont make any difference for preformance if you pull it out. Ditch the crazy bends in the exhaust if nothing else.
