Lets see your blazer exhaust pictures, I got a 72 with a 465/205 set-up I am in the market for new pipes SOON!!! I got some 3" flowmasters that I took off my old shortbox, 2" pipes from the manifolds to the mufflers and 2.5" out. It sounded awesome. Would I benefit from an H pipe or An X? this is strictly a pavement pounder for now, The paint is still to fresh to think about scratching it! Also fumes wise, is it better to go out the side or straight out the back? So lets see your pics

I would say it would be best for the fumes if you routed it out the sides. Ill get some pics of my ghetto exhaust tomorrow. :D

If you have a 72, it's like mine ( a convertible). I'm going to have my fourth revision done tomorrow with what I think is the best setup for a conv.

My first one was the stock single pipe angled out the back. This worked pretty good for fumes.

The second version I had duals going straight out the back. It sucked big time and after 20 minutes of driving, I smelled like... well I just smelled like exhaust and had a headache for hours afterward.

The third had the same setup, but routed out the sides right at the rear bumper. This worked better, but I still stunk.

This final one will route it out at an angle just like the stock setup so it dumps out the side and back.
