Does anybody know who sells after market sensors?? I have a 2001 GMC 5.3 with the cats removed and my engine light comes on every now and again due to the sensors reading wrong. I had heard there are sensors you can purchase that will give a false reading to the computor saying everything is good.
Any help would be great!!

I'm sure you're talking about the 02 sensor. If you remove anything in the exhaust that will remove back pressure which will also remove some heat then the stock 02 sensor may not get hot enough to go closed loop. You can install a 3 wire heated 02 sensor to cure this problem.

I'm suspecting you are talking about the after cat O2 sensors. They make "fake" ones that provide the computer with the optimum reading at all times.

Not sure why you'd remove the cats though. :(

There are no benefits to removing the cats on such a new vehicle. There have been several test in the Mags about removing or adding high flow cats to vehilces equipped with them and the results have always come up not to be worth it.
