Does every chevy motor have that one louder piston fire? Does it have something to do with the firing order? And if so, will an h-pipe help me out?

I've never really noticed it over the Flowmaster 40 (which was a single 3inch in/ dual 2.5 out) but now that i have true dual thrush turbo mufflers that are quiet as...scat.. it bugs the hell out of me. it sounds like an exhaust leak, but it isnt, i checked every inch of my exhaust from the headers to the tailpipe.

and equalizer pipe between the two banks is always a good idea if it's possible

but I have no idea what you're talking about, as far as sounds goes.

my k5 has true duals w/40s. and it has really funky thump sound (1 cylinder) out the one pipe. it only does it at idle in gear. im pretty sure i have a low cylinder. when the engine is cranking it "speeds up" on one cylinder. i dont know if its on the same side of the engine that makes the noise, but i would guess that it is.
