Exhaust System

Going out on a limb.. It should, because your exhaust is attached to the body/frame. The shackle flip should not be a problem.

any CK5er can correct me if I am wrong, hope this helps
Cheers
Matt

Have a single stock exhaust nd went looking for growl, since my 05 avalanche 5.3 with engine management system. Upgrade to a flowmaster ten series. Have bad interior resonance. Looking for suggestions on placement of muffler or thoughts on a heartthrob dual tone system with the glasspack tips exiting on either side of Reese hutch.

welcome to CK5. you might have been better off starting a whole new thread rather than digging up one that's been dead for almost 9 years.

with a flowmaster 10, i have no doubts that it sounds terrible inside the cab. i just put a Magnaflow 12589 muffler on my '89 suburban, which has a 5.3L and single 3" exhaust. i like it a lot. the muffler i had before that was a borla 40359, same type of sound, just louder. the bola was just too loud inside the cab on the highway.

borla
