I have dried up tranny fluid and slight tranny drip that, falls on the exhaust, causing well, smoke.
Until I fix the tranny pan drip is there anything I can put over the exhaust pipe to make a kind of protective layer that the tranny fluid can fall on or roll
off?
Im sure it will get hot as well and most likely smoke, just fleshing this idea out see if anyone may have some insight to maybe remedy this.
The truck is going for an engine swap soon.
So it’s mainly for a breif period Im looking at to maybe rig something up. I can change out the gasket when the truck is done with the swap.
I was thinking maybe put aluminum duct tubing or something to just cover it with a metal zip tie.
Is that even worth the trouble?
