Does anyone make a 2-1/2 dual exhaust kit for a '87 jimmy/blazer? Header back

2-1/4" manifold back used to be available. Typically it's cheaper to just have a shop build what you need. Plus you get all welded instead of clamps. If the kit was "header back", which headers would it be designed for? Sure, you can cut to length, but even the height of the collector varies. Once you're bending/cutting to fit, why not just let the shop do it?

General consensus I believe will be that if you can do the work yourself (cutting, welding), you can buy existing kits and modify them to fit your vehicle.

If you can't cut/weld, then you are much better off having a shop do it.

At least years back, any halfway intelligent shop owner wouldn't tell you over the phone they would do this, since it's a federal crime. In person, I don't think many, if any, would have a problem doing so.

FWIW, for many reasons, some, including myself, having run duals from the headers back before, consider single 3" a far better choice.

I had a custom job done, 2 1/2" from long tubes back to turn down tips just past the axle. Came out great, and with the flowmaster 50's, you only hear it when you get on it. All welded. Cound't be happier. Can send you pics if you would like.

Yes please

Sorry it took so long. Here are some pics from the collector to the tips. Don't mind the rusty gas tank, I'm doing a plastic swap right now :)

Also, with the rear window down I do get exhaust floating back in which sucks since I did a smog pump/cat delete so it is pretty strong. Not sure if this is normal for the location of my turn downs, but I didn't want anything out the back or sides so I just deal with it.
