Expedition quality bumpers

Other than Reunel, who makes expedition-quality bumpers? I saw one that looks nice in a recent issue of Four Wheeler (same ish where Turtle V got fender flares) mounted on a Dakota. Does anyone have that issue/remember who made that bumper?

Reunel made that one too. It's the same people on the turtle expedition and the dakota. They are very consistant and stick with what works even if it does cost a ton!!

Look at my vendor pages and you will see such bumpers.
The reason I build them that way is that most others are more like cosmetic-only.
And the same as with Reunel, you can not build them cheap if you want to do it right.

No, the bumper on the Dakota camper was made by someone else. It was a longer name, like Janssen or some such thing. It wasn't as heavy-looking as the Reunel, with beveled lower faces and tapered sides.

Ok. found the company. They are at http://www.hansonenterprise.com and they say they do custom in addition to their regular customers (j**p, old bronco, and D*dge)

(and even though I am gm all the way through, I still have respect for the pre-78 bronco, it was a decent truck)

even the 78 was a quality rig... with a Chevy engine installed of course.

A mechanic I used to have said that the ideal truck would be a mid 70's vintage ford truck with Chevy running gear.
