Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of restoring my '87 Blazer and I am looking to get new stainless brake hoses. The truck will remain stock height for a bit, but it will eventually get a 4" lift.

I'm wondering if I would be able to get away with buying the extended brake hoses now and running them with the stock suspension until I lift it instead of buying two kits.

Does anyone have any experience with these hoses? I'm thinking of the Russell 695710 Kit.

You will be fine put a spring around em if its an issue. That is a spring to take up the slack. One end on the brakelines the other end on the frame

I'd recommend the ORD lines over the Russell. Used them on my 1973 K10 and they were great. Supports a solid company as well.
