So I have all the stuff for the lift on the Sub. I'm just wondering, the extended brake lines are off a late 70s K10 that the lift came from. Will they work for the Sub? What are some of the companies that make these lines? BTW it's a 90 V2500 Suburban. If these do work I still might just buy a new set and keep these as trail spares.

The front lines may or may not work, it depends on if the banjo is for a 7/16" or 10mm banjo bolt. Fairly sure the rear will work. BTW, your burb will use 10mm banjo bolts. GM changed from the 7/16" bolts around 1978 or 1979 when they went to the 10 bolt front axle.

What he said. Way back when, i took a lift off a 76 blazer and put it on my 90 burb. The front lines didnt work, but i made them work. I drilled out the calper ends to the larger size that the 90 had. The other thing i had to do was that the 90 calipers had like a round raised area that the banjo sat it. The new lines were the large block style. So i just ground the blocks into banjos to fit in the round area. Actually, now that i think of it, im still running the lift lines on my burb now. I did it about 9 years ago. Crazy.

Actually, if both vehicles had the original brakes the 76 would have had 7/16" banjo which is .4375" and the 90 would use the metric 10mm which is .3937"

Interesting. I remember drilling them out. But maybe it was just one? And I remember having to file open the copper washers too. Who knows about the originality of any of the parts.

I just googled 1990 suburban brake lines. I think there was a set of superlift braided lines for $75 a for all three lines.
