Extended brake hoses that are 25 7/8" long will fit 10bolt from 89-2000 2wd chevy/gmc from right front but will work for both sides and can be modified to fit a D44.
Part #'s:
Napa - 38872
Raybestos - 38872
Auto Specialty - HB-86045
Coni-Seal - BH-177767
Carquest - SP8820

Are these the ones that will fit on a 10bolt with 4" of lift? I think that these are the one's for the gm 2wd truck. Thanks, /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Yes, direct fit. Just goto the parts store and ask for the part number. 10 bolt is a direct bolt on, slight mod needed to make them fit D44 calipers /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

shorten the banjo bolt an 1/8" and ream out the banjo bolt hole end of the hose to fit the 7/16" banjo bolt. That is what I did with mine /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The ones that I bought are marginally longer, maybe 2 inches unless you bend the hard line going into the caliper. Also, there is no good way to mount it to the frame since the shape of the hole is different, so you have to rig it up instead of using the clip to hold it on. IMO, not a direct bolt in and not worth the minimal gain in length.

My one ton frame might be different as far as the shape of the hole in the frame. Mine had a hexagon shape to it while the line was round with one locating tab on it that would not allow it go sit in the hole in the frame.

Gimme a couple min and I'll get you a pic of mine /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Can't really see the hole, but it is a hex hole and the hose part is round, I just used a stock clip and you can see /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The way you have it set up, that clip is not doing anything. The clip has to be on the back side of the frame to pull the hard part of the hose against the frame, thus stabilizing it and the hard line going into it.

The other side is solid, the hard line is fixed to the frame.....the hose does NOT move at the clip

On the inside of the frame rail, I took the snap ring off the extended hose and put it on the hard line so that the snap ring and the c-clip hold it solid to the frame /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

OK, that makes sense, still not what I consider to be "bolt in", but it works I guess.

Now that I think about it, I am wrong. I had to just touch the fitting on the brake line to the grinder. Had to grind of barely any material before it fit in the hole real nice. I would still consider it a bolt in though.
