I was looking in the " post ur numbers " , for cheap extended brake lines for my 1978 dana44 , and all i see is about modifying some.
anybody have any new information, or exactly what modifications have to be done ?

ive always just modified the bracket where the metal line meets the rubber line, i cut it halfway and twist it down.

looks like if I buy brakelines for 1978 3/4 ton 2wd, the lines are about 4" longer. so i will try that and see.

If it works let us know. I might try the same. I need new brake lines

My experience.. I bought the first set of lines listed by muddytazz. They are plenty long for a 4" lift, HOWEVER make sure the fitting on your caliper will take a square line. At first mine didn't, but at that time I discovered a leaking caliper and bought 2 remans, and both of those were machined for the square end.
