That's more travel than you will be able to use. Just beware that you will need to move the upper shock mount (Superduty shock towers, etc.)

Bilstein 5150's, 14.5" stroke and it uses all the available travel...:D

I run Bilstein 5125's out back and 5150's up front... 14.5" stroke and I use about 2" of it ;)

I am using Gabriel G63438 at all four corners. The stroke is like 12.5" - the longest available from Autozone.

There are plenty of threads about longer front shocks. I think Rancho makes one that is almost 15" of stroke. Don't forget the writeup on this site: http://coloradok5.com/ranchoreview.shtml

My setup is almost identical to Blue85's (F250 shock tower), except some cheap Superlift shocks (from their eBay scratch n' dent store) with 12.8 inches of travel. I'll be using all of it (I specifically wanted and built a very flexy front) as soon as I replace my "redneck limiting straps" (brake lines).
