Extending front brake lines

I see some questionable content under the ubolts next to the bottles in the top pic

Looks like we have an answer. Mine sealed well, but the tape is only at the lower end of the threads. Probably isn't doing anything at all. Live and learn. Thanks.

I used extensions from NAPA. Don't have the part number, but they gave me plenty of length.

Does anyone know the part # for the extensions? Or can I just go to Napa and tell them what I need and they will know? Are the extensions available in different lengths?

Pipe tape will get eaten by brake fluid. It will then allow the fittin to loosen and you will have a loss of brake pressure. As mentioned above it is for pipe style connections only.

Better turn that in, there's a pretty hefty penalty for private use of that container.

I, too, would love the PNs for that extension.

BTW, The questionable content was moved away from the truck......

that way next time i post a pic of my ugly non-functional shocks you can't see it:D
