Exterior of cab now painted

Stopped by the body shop this morning and he has the exterior of the cab shot with base and three layers of clear. Unfortunately the last layer wrinkled a little and will need to be fixed.

I am so ready to have the truck back home so I can get it completed and on the road. Haven't driven it since October of 2002 /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

The color is based off of a GM silver metallic paint code but the body guy put in more metallic. I was going for a very light silver metallic and I think he got it pretty close to what I was shooting for. Thanks for the compliment.

Hasn't been on the road since Oct of 2002 as I have been slowly tearing it apart, putting in a 454 and 4 speed, hydraulic clutch and hydroboost setup and getting it ready for paint. Unfortunately, I only get to work on my truck in the evenings for a couple hours when I have free time - so things take along time to get done.
