OK, some of you know I have been working on my D60. Got the driver side axle outer and U joint on, so decided to install it in the truck...No problem...got the brake on and figured out that wacky little retainer bar thingy...all is good. Put the tire on and hey, here is what was underneath (see picture). I think the flat plate goes between the brack caliper piston and the inside pad, which I can live without, but what is this little retainer thing?

Anti rattle clip

Where does the anti rattle clip go? adn what is the consequence of not having it, besides it will rattle...?

As for the PJ's, man I felt so bad. I was out in the garage and it was pretty dark, I thought that was a rag so I wiped my hands on it...but then I realized it was my daughters PJ's which she left in the gargara when she changed into her "work clothes"...man

I don't have any on mine and have never noticed a rattle I am not sure where they go.
