Im looking into adding EZ rates to my K5 when I install my new lift. Ive seen it done before but wanted a few others input on using EZ rates with degree shims. First, I know you would bolt them to the spring pack, but the video ive seen of this being done he had to offset the axle foward or backwards so the pin would set in the axle perch correctly. Is there a way to do this setup without moving the axle, or is this just got bad news written all over it? Im installing an 8" lift, the springs I have already have degree shims on them, but I want to gain as much lift as possible since its just a mud truck. what is yalls thoughts?

you can keep it centered too, just run the center pin through the leafs and block.
