I was planning to convert my tailgate to barn doors on my suburban but am now going a different direction with the sub. There are a few posts in the tech section about what needs to be done, but from what I gathered was that the 1980 or so and newer suburbans didn't have the reinforced pads for the door hinges so everyone that did it said they just cut out the door lip assembly from one with barn doors and welded it in place. So I found a guy scrapping a 1987 and just cut the whole back off of the burb which gives the full door jam area with the mounts as well as a pair of barn doors and hardware. The truck was hit on the drivers side so the area near the drives taillight has some damage, but I just planned to use the inner lip shell. The tint is peeling on the windows, I think the glass is cracked on one, and there is a dent also in the drivers door. But they opened and closed find, and you could always change it out later if you wanted a show piece. Located in Phoenix, AZ zip code 85281. I can't ship so please don't ask, local pick up only. I also have middle and front doors available from said truck, if you need to re-door your truck and want everything, otherwise I just selling the rear conversion right now, may use the front and middle doors later. Price $250 which is way less that what I paid for the assembly
