buddy of mine just got a truck with them on there and he wants to put a bigger lift. so what should he do about the shocks should he ask for a some chevy front shocks that are 4inchs longer??

Get the longest shocks you can find.
Or got to the parts store with the part number G63438 if they carry Gabrials.

After you put the lift in.. Measure from eye to eye. Then go in and tell them what the lenght is and you want the longest travel possable..
