one, are the 1/4 turn lockouts the same as chevy 60? its 30 spline on the shaft i just didnt know the hubs splines. sure looks close.

also the front driveshaft looks to be 1350, can anyone confirm? im thinkin of snagging one up and using it for a spare rear shaft. its jsut 50 bucks at the yard to get one.

Hubs are the same. The ones on my grandfather's F250 are the same plastic dial Warn's that GM used.. just with red(now pink...) dials.

The F250 TTB had 2 options, one was a D44 HD and the other was a D50 which is a D44 center and D60 outers so yes the hubs and locks are D60 parts.

I don't know how true that last statement was. I'm not a Ford guy, so I have no clue how to tell a Ford motor from one another. But I needed SRW hubs/rotors for my HP60, local yard has a crapload of them. Almost all of them had the TTB50 up front and a semi float rear axle. This can't be heavy duty, not with the diesel or 460. I still don't understand why Ford would put a heavy duty (if you want to call it that) up front and a light duty in the rear...

I just came from the dark side and my 86 F-250HD had a Dana 50 front and a Sterling 10.25 rear axle. Ford didn't decide what front axle to use based on engine choice, but rather by GVW. 8599LBS and under got a Dana 44HD. 8600 and above got the Dana 50. Generally speaking, any F-250 with a 460 or diesel engine was heavy duty and everything else was considered light duty.
