fabricating a new dash?

Hey,
I'm thinking about ripping out the dash in my k10 blazer and fabricating a new custom one out of sheet metal/stainless steel or something. Anyone have any suggestions/opinions? anyone have any pictures they want to show off if you have done it before?

Those look nice, but htey have way too much tiem and money into them....
